Kol Yitzei Lev Tahor exists to gather and bring the public extensive news and updates concerning the Lev Tahor affair. Kol Yitzei Lev Tahor is an independent information platform. Its purpose is to prevent wrongdoing from being hidden behind misinformation and false public-relations campaigns. Kol Yitzei Lev Tahor was founded approximately six months after the public sphere had been flooded with claims from activists who presented their work as a rescue effort. This platform maintains that the actions of Yoel Yehoshua Heshel Bloom, Avraham Greenhut, Yitzchak Teichman, and others caused grave harm, including intense pressure on Guatemalan authorities that led to more than 160 children being confined in shelters for many months. Kol Yitzei Lev Tahor is not a pro–Lev Tahor organization. It does, however, strongly oppose conduct that it believes violates basic standards of humanity, including the removal of children from their parents. More information appears on the home page. Kol Yitzei Lev Tahor issued a public cry to the Jewish community and to the wider world: open your eyes. Once the public began looking into the matter, the picture changed. The platform receives no government foster-care funding and is not paid by either side. Its purpose is to provide direct, unfiltered updates from the field. The platform was opened by a group of communal activists who said that matters had gone too far. It also helps support the legal battle being conducted in court. New hearings continue to take place involving mothers who are asking for one thing: the return of their own children.
